Welcome to DoReps! These terms explain your rights and responsibilities when using our service. We've kept things simple and clear — no confusing legal speak.

What DoReps Is

DoReps is an AI-powered dating communication coach. Think of it as a flight simulator for dating conversations. You practice with Maya (our AI coach), get instant feedback, and build real skills.

What We're NOT

• Not therapy or counseling: DoReps is a skill-building tool, not mental health treatment. If you're struggling with anxiety, depression, or other mental health concerns, please reach out to a licensed therapist.
• Not a dating app: We don't match you with people. We help you practice conversations.
• Not professional advice: Maya is an AI, not a licensed therapist or relationship counselor. Her advice is educational only.

Who Can Use DoReps

Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use DoReps. By signing up, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Account Responsibility

You're responsible for:

• Keeping your account secure
• All activity that happens under your account
• Maintaining accurate account information

Acceptable Use

You Can

• Practice dating conversations and social skills
• Get feedback on your communication style
• Track your progress over time
• Use DoReps for personal, non-commercial purposes

You Can't

• Practice manipulation or coercion: DoReps is about becoming genuinely better at communication, not about tricks or manipulation. We'll suspend accounts that attempt to practice coercive or manipulative tactics.
• Harass or abuse: Be respectful, even when practicing with an AI. No hate speech, threats, or harassment.
• Share accounts: Each subscription is for one person only.
• Scrape or abuse the service: Don't use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access DoReps.
• Reverse engineer: Don't attempt to access our source code or copy our AI prompts.
• Illegal activity: Don't use DoReps for anything illegal.

AI Limitations

Maya is powered by Claude, a state-of-the-art AI. But she's still an AI, which means:

• She can make mistakes: AI isn't perfect. Sometimes advice might not fit your specific situation.
• She can't replace human judgment: Use Maya's feedback as one input, not the only input, in your decision-making.
• She's not a real person: Don't rely on Maya for emotional support or crisis intervention. If you're in crisis, please contact:

• She follows ethical guidelines: Maya won't help you practice manipulation, coercion, or disrespectful behavior.

Subscription & Billing

Pricing

DoReps costs $30 per month. Your subscription automatically renews monthly until you cancel.

Payment

We use Stripe for secure payment processing. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method each month.

Cancellation

You can cancel anytime through your Stripe customer portal (Settings → Subscription → Manage Billing). When you cancel:

• You'll keep access until the end of your current billing period
• You won't be charged again
• Your data remains safe — we don't delete it automatically

No Refunds

We don't offer refunds for partial months. If you cancel on the 15th, you still have access until the end of the month — so you're getting what you paid for.

Free Trial

If we offer a free trial in the future, you'll be charged when the trial ends unless you cancel. We'll always remind you before charging.

Price Changes

We may change our pricing. If we do, we'll notify you at least 30 days before the change affects your account. You can cancel before the new price takes effect.

Your Content & Data

You Own Your Data

Your conversations, feedback, and progress data belong to you. We don't claim ownership of anything you create or share in DoReps.

How We Use Your Content

We need limited rights to your content to provide the service:

• Process your messages to generate AI feedback
• Store your conversations so you can review them later
• Analyze usage patterns to improve DoReps (aggregated and anonymized)

We never:

• Share your conversations with other users
• Sell your data to third parties
• Use your conversations for AI training without consent
• Make your data public

Deleting Your Content

You can delete conversations anytime (Settings → Data & Privacy). Deleted data is permanently removed within 30 days.

Account Termination

You Can Leave Anytime

Cancel your subscription and optionally delete your account. No questions asked.

We Can Suspend Accounts

We may suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these terms (especially Acceptable Use)
• Engage in abusive behavior
• Commit fraud or payment disputes
• Pose security risks

If we suspend your account, we'll explain why and give you a chance to fix the issue (unless it's a serious violation like fraud or harassment).

Service Availability

Uptime

We work hard to keep DoReps available 24/7, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. Sometimes we need to do maintenance or deal with technical issues.

Changes to the Service

We're constantly improving DoReps. This means:

• Adding new features
• Changing how features work
• Occasionally removing features that aren't working well

We'll do our best to communicate major changes, but we don't promise to notify you about every small update.

Beta Features

We may release beta features for testing. These might be buggy or change without notice. Use them at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

Please read this section carefully.

Service "As Is"

DoReps is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that:

• The service will be error-free or uninterrupted
• Defects will be corrected immediately
• The service will meet your specific needs
• AI advice will always be accurate or appropriate

Limitation of Damages

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages(like lost profits, data loss, or emotional distress)
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months(so if you've paid $30/month for 3 months, our max liability is $90)
• We're not responsible for third-party services (Stripe, Google, Anthropic, etc.)

Real-World Application

DoReps helps you practice conversations, but you're responsible for your own actions in real-life situations. We're not liable for outcomes of real-world conversations, dates, or relationships.

Exceptions

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for:

• Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
• Anything else that can't be excluded by law

Dispute Resolution

Try to Work It Out First

If you have an issue, please contact us at danish@doreps.app. We'll do our best to resolve it quickly and fairly.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada (specifically Ontario), without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Arbitration

If we can't resolve a dispute informally, we'll use binding arbitration rather than going to court. This means:

• A neutral arbitrator will decide the outcome
• The decision is final and binding
• You waive your right to a jury trial
• You can't join class actions (disputes must be individual)

Exception: You can always take disputes to small claims court if they qualify.

Miscellaneous

Entire Agreement

These terms, along with our Privacy Policy, make up the entire agreement between you and DoReps. They replace any previous agreements or discussions.

Severability

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.

No Waiver

If we don't enforce a right immediately, that doesn't mean we've waived it. We can still enforce it later.

Assignment

You can't transfer your account to someone else. We can transfer our rights and obligations (for example, if DoReps is acquired by another company).

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you via email or an in-app message at least 30 days before they take effect.

Continued use of DoReps after changes take effect means you accept the new terms.
